Speaking to hullfc.com on Albert Kelly’s current situation, Radford said: “I’d like him to be playing. But there is protocol to follow regarding head knocks.

“It was a big hit on him that caused the concussion so it has taken a few weeks to recover.

“He needs to go through some more contact in training to make sure he’s fit and ready to go, so we’re hoping to have him back for next week’s game against Catalans.”
