Well I would be disappointed if the club haven’t got a marquee type signing lined up to replace him as I think it’s a huge mistake letting him go . Wonder if Sam Burgess fancy’s a Reunion with his old mate radders , he said about a super league return . If only !!!
2017 saw him cited 17 times (3 red cards), charged 4 times, 6 games missed via suspension and despite these missed games he gave away 24 penalties (the most of any Hull player). 3 games missed so far via suspension in 2018.
I know its for different reasons but I bet he's still missed less games than Houghton, Mini and a few others
You cant replace talent like that but it makes our salary cap situation for next year look better. Pay raises for OOC players plus room to spare to replace any overseas players we might be losing.

Abdull can now be our main/starting 13. (I'm not sure how many games Watts actually lined up as loose forward but I feel like it may have been a few). We looked a better team with him in it last Thursday against Leeds.

Bowden goes to starting prop. Abdull at LF and Paea on the bench with Green. Still about the best pack in the league.
We will step into the future better and stronger and we will go forwards, not backwards, and build a team that wins many games and not just a few. (I would love to be a politician. )
You can only back the club but IMO he's our best prop and the move makes us significantly weaker. Unless there's been some serious off field issues I don't personally believe his disciplinary record is enough to get rid of him for and unless we have a replacement we'll be losing ground on all of our top 4 rivals.
Reading the mail, we had agreed a fee with toronto before cas came in and the club have instigated it, not watts.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we came back with a prop from Salford, maybe one of Koppy, Mossop or young Griff?
We played Salford at the weekend and he was left out of the team. So could be something in it. good forward as well

if true very poor decision for me theres a real problem in the league to find top quality forwards Liam showed in Aussy he is one of the best although I think our young guns are brilliant there not on Liams level yet this is what happened before we undid and let go a great team it looks like that could happen again Kelly Watts Carlos whos next ? disappointed is an under statement
