There's an "international break" in June, (England doing some P.R. in the land of the silver dollar) I would expect lots of first choice England players to have sick notes for this one, so why not schedule it for that weekend ?
I can only think of Gale from Cas been involved unless McMeeken finds some form, and I don't think we'll be bothering Bennett's scouting team any time soon.
Stop Pi55ing up my back and telling me it's raining !!!!
Watts using his head like when he legged it from that car up Ponty way and let Cockayne take the wrap. Full of class that lad and doing it to Crosby of all people? Not good whichever way you look at it? Posted elsewhere it was Connor being a prick all night that led to that red.Connor lights the fuse them let's the others do the rucking. Still it's 2 points in the bank and I will give credit to any fan who went.
Was thinking there may be a live thread on VT but popped on there as few good lads discussing it.Honestly thought Thaler for 55 min was blatantly cack. If it had been other way around I would have said the same. Job done then 2 reds .Credit to the players and fans but that Thaler performance was almost as bad as our 0-40 game v Hudd. That day he let them hold down and be offside all game and pinged us for the slightest fraction of same thing. I hate him as a ref and the fact he is chief ref says a lot about the state of our game.Morgan got a 4k fine for implying he was bent but he was and still is cack. Factor in Thaler the weather and everything else and it wasn't that bad a watch

Craig, i’ve edited your last post for fear of libel.
The prospect of Thaler or Child officiating Rovers used to make my heart sink, but my feelings about them are more muted now. I don’t think any of our refs are consciously biased. I do remember once being furious with Child because, to my mind, he decided to make a point rather ref normally. He’d probably describe it as ‘game management’, but his weary exasperation at ‘having’ to penalise us yet again was was less than endearing. And the suspicion remains that these points are more often made against less fashionable clubs, even allowing for the fact that they’re often more likely to concede penalties (see also occasional disciplinary panel crackdowns). The important thing is to try to get into a position to be on the right side of referees’ interpretation more often than not and then milk the hell out of it.
