He did target a return for April but with him not training with the club much he won’t have been involved in set plays etc.
I thought he had already told the club he didn’t think he would return? His wife said she wouldn’t return.

I read a report last week that said Sam Burgess wanted to return to SL to try and win a GF. Surely we should be after him especially if Ablett, JJB and Galloway leave at the end of the year.

keinhorst wants to play reguler and at 27 who can blame him, he would walk into most super leugue sides, it may not be that he is not well thought of just that he wants reguler game time. Briscoe out of contract at end of year and he has been mainly a poor value signing. so Briscoe handley walters keinhorst and even Lilly may be used as bargaining tools to prize Johnson away.

Keinhorst is a cracking player but like others have said he wants regular first team rugby. Saying that with the injuries we get he probably would get plenty of game time here anyway. I would sooner lose Briscoe and or Sutcliffe if it meant keeping Keinhorst and getting Johnstone.

With JJB, ablett, Delaney, ferres all coming to the end of their careers, sutcliffe and keinhorst should both be kept as succession. One play centre, one play back row. Apart from 2015 (when he was outstanding) I’m not sure briscoe has been an improvement on BJB. He’d be the obvious choice for a swap but I doubt Johnstone will be leaving wakey any time soon.
