So it's the local mayor who decides when a case goes to court these days, can't see that on the job description anywhere

Unfortunately some fans of Leigh Centurions are so blinded by their club partisanship that they cannot acknowledge that what you are saying is true.

what is true is the biggest nice person in chorley has a profile pic of the biggest nice person in rugby league.now lets hope this sick twisted little turd gets a life in 2018.

Are you calling Gregory Bird the biggest great dude in rugby league?

It is the Mayor and Deputy Mayor's role to hold the Chief Constable to account, as PCC (Police and Crime commissioner).

I am not sure of how much you know the of the criminal justice system, but the decision on who is charged with a criminal offence, which is then subsequently heard in a criminal court belongs with the CPS. The police should present the CPS with evidence regardless of whether it supports or undermines the prosecution case.

Andy Burnham here was shouting out for an independent review of the GMP's anti corruption unit (known for being bent within GMP)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-ma ... r-34587260 = There is also reference in here of corrupt practices that falsely imprisoned a police officer and badgered a witness until he was ill. He has since died.

Now he is in office he hasn't made this happen.

Here is another example of when he hasn't acted despite being presented with evidence of fraud, false accounting and avoiding property tax by GMP

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... hreat.html

BTW the 'threat' was fabricated by GMP to help Steve Heywood sell a house he couldn't sell, he didn't move for work he moved 5 miles away.

There is an awful lot more he has been presented with and has done nothing about.

He is a barking dog that wants the limelight buy fails to act when it is difficult to do so.

Oh i forgot this one.

A police officer who is being investigated for fraud offences is moved into the very department that is investigating him...

He was never suspended nor removed from active duty / restricted..

Firstly Mr Prescott was never my local MP as a voting adult, second I've never voted labour, third, JP hasn't being employed in a role within RL circles to steal a wage (stealing it from Rugby League as a whole that means clubs, fans etc) on the back of being a corrupt/inept politician and someone clearly isn't fit for the role nor to be trusted

Don't agree with his politics but he has a genuine affection for the game so that is a good start.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
