upsetzombie wrote:Andy Burnham is far from a decent politician.

He is currently presiding over one of the most corrupt police command teams in the country, and has been provided with huge amounts of evidence concerning multiple serious crimes and has so far done absolutely nothing about it.

He is great at shouting out corruption and making waves when he isn't the one that has to act.

When he is charge, however, he cowers and fails to act.

A disgrace of a man and politician.

Well said. This is a succinct summary of a shocking career.

I look forward to the great day when Andrew Burnham is arrested and dragged out of his office in handcuffs, is transported to Chapel Street for his booking, and is locked up there for the night pending his court appearance in the morning. British justice needs to be firm and swift.

Merry Christmas from Carcassonne, where the law is respected and the food and wine are wonderful.

He's been sussed at last. I am led to understand, (not easy to do as a simple Leyther) that Andy Burnham follows a long line of disgraced ex Leyther political notables, headed by Atilla The Hun, Genghis Khan, Stalin, Hitler and, in more recent times, Sadam Hussein, Kim Jong-un, and even Donald Trump. Who would have thought that such a simple little backwater could have been the political starting point for such a fine bunch of men?

What? Did you expect otherwise from a place that is loathed by people from Manchester as a pimple on the bum of Wigan? Its only claim to fame is Georgie Fame, more than fifty years ago!
Andrew Burnham is everything that makes sophisticated Londoners loath the north.

Come to Carcassonne and enjoy a big slice of preindustrial history, and clean politicians, as well as great food and wine.

I think it is important that we discuss who the people involved in RL are.

I am uncertain as the why we bother with these people in these positions Burnham and Prince Harry, just not sure what they really bring us. The wheel them out once a year and then wheel them back in.

But they are involved to some capacity aren't they? So why not?
