Agree with that. Lo has looked good, but has played against limited opposition so far in regards championship players and also what he has faced off against in the WC. Be interesting to see how he goes against JM if PNG meet England as it seems they will.

That said, it looks pretty certain he will be a good attacking weapon for Cas the way they play.

every body says we should sign this player and sign that, we cant sign anybody and everyone. i honestly cant think of too many players we missed out on that were truly a mistake not signing, or players we let go. think Bobby Goulding and James Lowes were the most regrettable players we let go. shame we did not resign Morley and Eliis but thats about it.

It's a fair point from my own pov i think we should have retained Amor especially after his 2nd year at Wakey ,We were in for Walmsley but missed out & it will be interesting to see how Bentley goes at ST's as he is another one im lead to believe we missed.

None of keinhorst,golding or newman are wingers. Our only recognized wing cover is handley. Hopfully he can improve if he's needed. I wouldnt of minded atall if we'd brought lo in for competition,he wont of cost much and theres a lot of raw ability to work with. Likes been said though,we cant sign everybody.

Walmsley for sure is the one big miss and like already stated Bentley from Bradford and Bateman I would have liked.

No they aren't but all are good enough as back up imo which as our squad stands would be what Lo's role would be.

He'd be a much better back up winger than all 3 though imo. Im not upset we didnt sign him and dont think the club have messed up or anything by not signing him. I do think we could do with better cover for the wings however and would of been excited if we'd signed lo

I know a sponsor of Batley and he told me at the time that the Rhinos had Walmsley as a guest at one of our home games whilst he was still at Batley and was choosing his SL club in order to try and persuade him to join us,I was told at the time that it was a straight choice between us and the Saints.
We unfortunately lost out on a great player there and I would love to know his reasoning behind his eventual choice of clubs and why he rejected us.


Rhinos had been watching Bentley for quite a while and yet again a player that we were interested in signing chose the the Saints.
I like the look of Bentley and would have loved to see us sign him as he is a very talented player, albeit he was playing lower league RL at the Bulls at the time so it is not always easy to judge a players abilities whilst they are playing in the lower leagues.

It will be very interesting to see how he progresses at Saints and to see if he can full fill his undoubted potential

Backup winger is a tricky one. If your starters stay fit then you don't really get a look in, Lo probably wouldn't had Hardaker not messed up and been on loan at Sheffield.

In 2014 when Briscoe arrived, BJB barely got a look in as both wingers stayed fit and decided to leave. 2015 Briscoe missed a lot of the season and both he and Hall missed plenty in 2016 so BJB would've gotten loads of games had he stayed and probably made sticking with Briscoe this year much trickier.
