Amazing game, and the atmosphere was bouncing that night. Bedsy showed Micky Monners why he was the best 9 of the modern era with a masterclass and I believe he didn't miss a single tackle! Webby standing Bridge up after receiving a deep ball from Burrow was another special moment as he shipped back inside for Bobs to go under the sticks. Great showing from Leeds

The final may have been a bit boring for nuetrals because Leeds were so dominant in the second half, but I dont buy anyone who is saying that Leeds were not even that good, I think it was our best performance in over 2 years and McGuire put in one of the greatest GF performances of all time

Agree completely
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Possibly our most under valued player for a long time. Not by all, but many of our fan base have no idea how important he has been to the team over the years

It was persisting down. Leeds did what they needed to do. GF or league game. Winning is the main thing. I wasn't bored by it as a neutral. I very much enjoyed Leeds knocking that 'already champions' smirk of the faces of Castleford. A side with literally no history chanting 'That's why we're champions' after a league game getting way too big for their boots needed that peg taking down. Usually i wouldn't want Leeds to win but i was 100% a Leeds fan last Saturday. The only thing Cas could take out of that match was by looking at Danny McGuire and watching how a final needs to be played. He was outstanding.

The only thing that mattered was the result, the rest is irrelevant, just as the Wigan v Hull Challenge Cup game was in 2013, that was played in worse conditions, but hey-ho who cares. It's in the record books, that's all that matters. While I'm on, I've never been McGuires biggest fan but that was as good a halfback performance as I've seen in a long time. I was talking to my son in law who's a Saints fan, and a friend who supports Wigan and they both said the same.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row Saints have five in a row
