Sean Long? Really?
I know the betting incident wasn't great, but he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in that company. Other than that I can't remember him getting in any bother at all.
[edit] I forgot about his episode with GB. Can't remember what happened there, but I still don't think you could say he wasted his career like the above.

And the drugs thing at hull too long has made some stupid desision but seems to get taken on irrespective of what he has done but he has achieved things that may persuade people to take the risk, clubs have taken that risk with Zak and been burnt it's hard to see where he will end up next but on the right terms with limited expectations he could be worth a punt for say newly promoted hull kr or possibly Toronto
It's frustrating as it seemed he was back up his best and had turned a corner or started to at least ! Don't know what it is but it must be serious for cas to drop him for a game like this...hope it doesn't change the outcome of the game on the occasion I have watched cas under piwell he seems to be able to switch things around well when needed so good luck against Leeds !!

Going back a bit further, I'd add Tim Street to the list, I remember him dominating the Wigan pack in the 1986 Colts final looking as if he had all the tools to be potentially one of the great forward of his generation and then threw it all away.
Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently. Rosa Luxemburg, 'Die russiche Revolution'.

What about him breaking a 16 year old girls jaw in Standish?
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row Saints have five in a row
Anyway back to Zak. Is there anyway back for him following the GF result. Surely his omission must have caused a lot of disruption to the preparations.

Given a second chance, thrown it back in your face, wonder where he'll go from here, no future at Cas, surely?
