Hadley is a better option opposite Robey

To be honest Randell looked pretty good over 80 mins last week, if he can reproduce or improve on that performance then no need to spell him!

Maybe, there will be some logic to it somewhere but as Woody and Randell are capable of 80 mins then maybe CC would prefer an extra forward on the bench. Seeing as Randell has just arrived it kind of makes sense to have another look. Whatever the case I don't think it's anything to do with Wood's importance to the team. Just how I see it. :D

Ben Thaler to ref the game.

Leaving MCB out would mean that all 4 subs are forwards.

Would that be wise given the importance of the game.

Hopefully no pivots or backs pick up injuries, could end up with players out of position. Personally would be tempted to bring him back, with Arundel dropping to the bench to cover centre/back row.

No complaints with Thaler

We're on about Wood not MCB I think. Personally I would never have a back on the bench to me its border line criminal :-)

For me it should be three forwards and a pivot player either a 9 or a 7 never a winger or a centre.

Might be old fashioned but it's what I believe :-)

I too would rather have a pivot as one of the bench spots. I agree with you there.

However, given the named squad, that would be unliklely to happen.

That is why i mentioned Arundel on the bench as he can play second row as well as centre, to give us a bit of versitility if needed. Tupou can also do that.

Arundel starts in the centre for me. So does Tupou.
The choice is Lyne in centre or MCB on the wing.

The other angle with Woody (if it's not mind games) is, h could be being kept fresh for Hull next week as I'd imagine they won't let Hadley play against them?

Randell played 70 odd minutes at Salford so is obviously a fit lad...if he does need spelling at any time Hadley can do a decent job there...if not Hadley is great from the bench to spell Kirmond to get the best out of him!

That keeps Woody wrapped in cotton wool and he would be a straight swap for Hadley at Hull...if our forwards can stand up to the might of the Hull pack imagine what damage a combination of Randell, Wood and Miller could do against big, tiring bodies!

Having watched the Salford & Leeds games, courtesy of TrinityTV :ROCKS: , I'm reasonably confident for this one.

I think defence will be the key, but the performance against Leeds proves we can do that. We gave them no time or room at all.

With the return of Miller and the addition of Randell, combined with all four strike props fully fit, I think we're an attacking threat to any team.

The only question mark is whether we can perform at the level we are capable of when the chips are down, not sure we've managed to do that this year?
