Have to give a special mention to the entrepreneurial scarf and flag seller, who spotted a gap in the market.
He was doing a unique version of the dual colour club scarfs and flags, at ever decreasing bargain prices.
They read ;
- Challenge Cup Final - Wigan Warriors v
Hull City A brilliantly classic FAIL of epic proportions.
No Sales.... but loads of laughter

It's didn't say Hull City, it just said Hull, the colours were wrong, and this was widely reported, nice mock up though.

As part of their end of season review, some Wigan fans are now suggesting that tries from bombs should only be awarded 3 points!?!
They claim it's becoming an outdated form of scoring tries, with only Hull/Fonoa using it.
So, if you can't beat a team in the Cup or League table, then change the rules until you do?
Wigan, the fans that keep on giving! What's not to love?

There are a number of things you could translate from this.
Firstly, if fewer players are adopting this tactic, thats because the skill set needed, not many have.
Secondly, if it is such a niche element of the game and difficult to execute then it would be rational to award it more points, not less.
Finally and probably more realistic, Wigans halves are simply not good enough.

few years ago wigan were expert at scoring tries off high kicks when pat Richards played for them.its just sour grapes.
