Ugger Thank you were in Watford from the Thursday night.

I disagree. The best campaign I have seen recently in sport is women's AFL (Aussie Rules). In the first year of the competition they made all games free entry and gave the tv rights away for free. Attendances will hit 50k in the second season. It's remarkable
Also, when you talk about value, people are only mentioning the game and not the game day experience, I'm not referring to pre match entertainment but the concept of a nice beer and meal in sport is alien. A local brewery and a couple of decent food vendors would work wonders.

There's been very little mentioned on the Wigan board about Wembley. Was almost thinking they hadn't realised they'd got to the Final!?! Don't know how many they are taking?
Anyway, they are now releasing the 'Wigan Song' from 30 years ago for Charity and trying to get it in to the Top 40 with 8,000 downloads. Didn't know they had another song other than 'Wigan, Wigan, Wigan'? However, good if they shift a few to raise some money for good causes.

yes it appears to be the journey by rail from watford junction that is affected. the other option i have used before and will be using again is to park and get the tube from rickmansworth - easy access from the m25 assuming the motorway is free from hold ups

I was thinking the same and had a quick look at tickets left for sale and we have nearly sold out of the west side of the stadium, when I look only 1 block left at Fc for sale and 1 block on the RL website. On the other side you can still take your pick on the RL website loads of blocks left with tickets in.
Has anyone got any feedback about the Green Man pub near the stadium for drinks/food before the game please? I'm travelling with family including 2 kids.

We went last year and it was really good, weather needs to me good as the best bit is the beer garden, never ate there and not sure what the food is like, but great for drinks and was an excellent atmosphere, busy last year, but had loads of outdoor bars so easy to get served.
