Think about the teams mentioned and the players in front of him at them teams if he went, he'd been in the same spot as at Leeds. Hence why Wakefield is the better option.

Exactly my point, if they're offering him basically 6th spot at their club then it isn't a good offer.

Income wise they are good offers, but he's one player that isn't actually after the money, but the chance to play.

If they're offering good money to a lad who probably won't make their the starting 17 when every time is fit it says more about those clubs than Baldwinson. Cas are going to face a financial challenge now after how well they've done to keep hold of their current players as well as adding players who will improve them without throwing more money than he's worth at an unproven 6th choice prop.

Baldwinson may be seeing how Alex Foster has developed there & been selected in the first team squad.

Never mind looking like a different player, to me he looks like a different person!

I recall him as being a skinny, scrawny thing that couldn't force his way out of a paper bag and now he looks much bigger and more powerful altogether.

It seems most/all our young 2nd rowers are built that way, Foster, Clarkson, Walters spring to mind

If/when Baldwinson leaves IIRC that will mean only Singleton has come through to become a 1st team regular as prop since we had Bailey?

I just hope Oledski doesn't go the same way as Baldwinson and becomes the performer that most think he will be and gets his chance to show it with us

Oledzki is as has been said still very raw. He made a big impact at first in the championship but as soon as the opposition got wise to him they were making sure he was well marked.

He needs time and patience investing in him. Don't expect him to be a Sam Burgess and be knocking over test players just yet.

For me Baldwinson looks a bit like Daniel Smith did/does.
Why hasn`t he developed in to the player we all thought he should have been is unclear.
The fact he wasn`t given game time when we were crying out for changes last year might tell you something.
I would be sorry to see him go but feel he was never given the opportunity to prove himself before being discarded if true.

I would be amazed if we were in for Baldwinson tbh. Taylor, Watts, Paea, Bowden, Green, Matongo, Fash (and Ellis) all capable of playing prop for us next season
