Last year there was a decent contingent in Covent Garden singing late into the evening. Right by to the tube station there are two pubs opposite each other; The Nags Head and The White Lion, pedestrianized in front so you can stand outside with a beer if it's nice.

I always head to the Maple Leaf on Maiden Lane Covent Garden, kind of a tradition as used to go to the Heineken Wembley Finals weekend for Ice Hockey and that was the place we went to so always gone there whenever staying over in London.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Huddersfield to a friends birthday party this time. in 2005 i missed the saturday of Leeds Festival to drive down to Cardiff and back. good line up that year too
