Nothing to do with us, his salary is between and his employer, and petitions like this reek of jealousy as opposed to a genuine desire for change. Are all RL players and officials "worth" their salary?

If someone wants to pay him that much then that's their problem. Bugs me when people bang on about peoples high salaries and make it out that it is that persons fault. It is not Nigel woods fault that he gets paid so much, he isn't gonna turn it down because of some hypothetical moral standpoint and no one else would turn it down either. It has got literally nothing to do with any one of us.

Even those who have a genine desire for change get it badly wrong at times.

You do know that the RFL made a reasonable profit last year?
Or perhaps you should have applied for the General Managers job which was up for grabs this time last year, then you could have shown all your vision?
I'd scrap this if I were you, otherwise it will come back to haunt you.

As I posted earlier in the season, the review of the salaries at the RFL were done by an external company, when it came down to it the RFL executive paid themselves over the recommended increases anyway, ignoring what they were advised so in actual fact they wasted even more money by paying for an organisation to go through all the rigmorole, unless of course this company had some attachment to one or more of the execs, then that would make absolute sense. I'll be signing it for one.

Judge him on what the RFL achieve, not what he's paid. None of us have any real idea what the internal workings or objectives of the RFL are. IMO there should be more visibility but there isn't so no one can say if he's goof value for what he earns.

The issue with pay is surely whether the recipient is being paid their worth. Whether getting cities or towns from other countries is advancing the game, therefore worth the money, whilst other local clubs go under is a moot point. There again is his salary paid by result or because of the status of the position. Inequality is inequality; higher pay for some is not equality.
