Not a obsession just banter. Every Monday morning when I go into work soon as i see a k.r supporting mate or customer it's straight into it. It's all good fun and makes no difference were in different leagues we both use any results or stat (love the ww11 one) to get the better of it. If anything it's stepped up in originality this year with them beating part timers most weeks. Still being as much fun as ever though. On Saturday when we was singing "are you watching hull k.r " I know they was sat there laughing and already thinking Mondays going to be a rough one as I would. You may not give rovers a second thought and that's fine but for me,my mates and thousands of other hull/kr fans taking the mickey out of each other is all part of being a r.l fan in this city. It's what makes it different to everywhere else. I love discussing all things rugby and talk to as many k.r fans about rugby as f.c. Hull would be a far duller place for alot of rugby fans if we ignored the other side.

Fair enough, whatever floats your boat I guess. I just think the songs etc. are embarrassing.

a few beers, stood with your mates, on a sunny afternoon watching your team get to Wembley, why not,be merry, wish it was us.. as they say its all in the game, im sure it would have been the same the other way

like I say it's banter.no different to people winding each up about football teams they support. It's about having friends and having a laugh about something you share in common . Some very serious people on this board but each to their own
Can we just give him a break ? Yes he said things that have been proven very wrong, we all know that. However, at the time he believed it and wrote his opinion on our Forum. Thats everyones right. I never agreed with it, but so be it.
Some sentences he may regret with hindsight, who knows ? His petition idea didn't work out, so democracy won. and so did all Hull FC fans because we now have success from a hierachy who have given us the the best team and Club set up ever in my opinion, This is the hierachy a minority wanted out. They were wrong, and thats now gone.
Im sure with hindsight Bumpys glad to be proven wrong because we have success with the best young coach in the Super League, and perhaps the best coach full stop. and a Chairman no-one on here would swap for anyone. Even Bumby I'm sure.
So things are good at FC, ney they are brilliant at Hull FC and Bumbys worst fears are unfounded. So now we surely move on together. Cant we just put one persons unfounded beliefs in the past ? Hes not apologised, but hes more that paid his dues, Bumpys posts are sometimes on the edge, he speaks what he feels and I respect that. I may not always agree. Were all different.
Some say the reminding us all of "past posts", of "a persons past beliefs" and all the tit for tat that then goes with it is a bit tedious. I tend to agree.
Lest we forget, On this occasion Bumby was celebrating our teams win and Radfords part in it. I like that, I feel like Bumby has accepted Radford IS doing a great job.

There's banter and there's tit for tat, and the constant stuff between certain posters and Knocker's Bump, I can assure you, puts a lot of people off participating on this site. I disagree with a lot of his opinions (and also the way he puts them across) but, hey that's all part of the diverse bunch we are as FC supporters. I also happen to have briefly met Tony and he's a decent guy who feels passionately about the club.
Please could we draw a line under the patty squabbles and move on to talking about (and debating in a civil way!) all the great things about our club, and not so great things about the way our sport is run?
