He said say in his press conference last week that Leeds haven't written off Sutcliffe off as a 6 yet, but the way Moon has performed since being given the role has probably made him first choice at the moment.

I agree and i hope it works out that way. Id like to see sutcliffe in the left Centre role, im not as high on keinhorst as a lot of people and think sutcliffe would offer a lot more there given a run of games.

IMHO This is where the squad are deficient:
1. Ashton Golding; 04/09/96; Fullback [2021] - CT K 2. Tom Briscoe; 19/03/90; Wing/Centre/Fullback [2018] - FT - no form for 2 years shadow of the player we first signed 3. From this I would say we need 3 decent forwards and 2 quality backs for the squad to put us back into Finals again. As JP said after the match (or something similar) ,if we fail to reach the final play off's then we need some sort of overhaul. Perhaps if some deadwood is chopped we will have some leverage room under the cap,but other teams seem to be able to attract decent quality players to their squads so why not Leeds. Thoughts anyone?

If the 2010 squad was under the cap, the cap surely cannot be an issue in 2017/2018. The serial unwillingness to spend what is permitted could explain why Leeds are only able to recruit journeymen and retain championship quality players.
Somewhat ironic that posting this message while stopping off on the way home - charging my car in the Doncaster Lakeside car-park (a stones throw from the Keepmoat) having watched the game with family in Leeds.

I think people get too caught up analysing the cap. You would be surprised with some of the wages, and value for money certainly isn't a measure of it.
You would be right to think with player x gone, player y can't be on that, but it would be a wrong assumption. And to be fair although this is poor from a management point, it is indicative of how the low salary cap has restricted throughout the game, and why Super League has gone so far backwards as a result.

Cuthbertsons best at 13 and imo the best 13 in the league,I think ward is a quality backrower and could be even better if his skills were used more often and i quite like garbutt but other than that i agree, our other props and backrowers are pretty poor, lots of hard work but no dynamism or threat atall
