Both present different challenges. Wigan probably the tougher prospect given the vast big match experience in their ranks, but Salford have a load of dangerous players like Murdoch Masila and Sau. Just thrilled to be back again.
we do seem to raise our game against the big names in the cup, saying that we could blow Salford of the park at Wembley, Also we might not raise our levels and get turned over, uck it not bothered lol
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
Wigan would give us the prestige (and also a much larger income from gate receipts) if we win.
Salford haven't got the experience which could go in our favour, and it also may derail their Super 8s which, as a competitor of ours in the race for the top 4, could help us. We've got the squad fully fit now so we can rotate a bit, to avoid burnout.
Honestly, I think that if we play like we did today, we'd comfortably beat either.
Looks already like it's going to be us against Wigan. Only 10 minutes played but Salford look like they're going to struggle to contain Wigan today. They shot out the blocks in the very first set but their energy seems to have dipped massively in only 10 minutes!
