parking is available on the street at the opposite side of the lake from the stadium, just down from the asda and cinema. pleasant stroll along the lake edge to the stadium about 10 mins away. get there early though
There is quite a bit of free street parking on Lakeside Boulevard which runs round the lake on this map, it can fill up quickly though but people come and go as they're often walking dogs round the lake etc early doors. Obviously nearer the game you won't find a space.
There is a large free car park at the North of the map next to Cheswold Lodge and the Vue (12 minute walk round lake), also at lakeside Village on the south (but I think they're getting a bit cannier for cacthing people who aren't shopping on Rovers days)

High on quality is the place but somewhat cramped for space. Railway Hotel and The Leopard (both good for real ale), Leopard does decent food, both are very near to the Station. Across the dual carriageway is The Tut & Shive - good real ale, food and Sky sports. Next to that is The Plough - old fashioned period piece of a pub with good real ale.
