Saw him play in home games for Cronulla back in 1974 a couple of years or so before he joined Hull. He only played around 20 games for the Sharks. He struggled with the pace of the Aussie game but made up for it with solid effort and great off loading skills.
Was a popular player with the fans who loved his whiter than white legs!
Agree with above, very good ball handler and tons of experience at the highest level.
I was just watching the Calander special on Thursday about the 1980 cup final and he was there noticeable from the back by his hair colour and bald patch.

Condolences to his family and friends. A massive figure, skilful and tough as anyone. He gave me some great memories as a lad, and was a huge part of the historic FC renaissance. May he rest in peace.
