I think we may struggle to finish in the 4 at the end of the season given the stupid points we've dropped (7 against the current bottom 4) and the distraction of the cup

The Challenge Cup is irrelevant, it's a straight knockout competition.

The play-offs are those games in the league competition not part of a league format (no competition points at stake). When we play in the Super 8s we are attempting to reach the top four in the league to make the play-offs. Since 1998 there has been a five, six, eight and now a four team play-off system.

It's not that hard to understand.

It's odd that being optimistic was condemned as happy clappers a while ago, now it's gone the other way.
Being realistic is now totally unacceptable.

Some folk just love having a go. Now the club hierarchy have delivered, the moron/turd insults sent their way look ridiculous, so those more measured both in bad times and good are now attacked for not expecting FC to win at a team 8 points clear at the top of the league. You couldn't write it.

My view is that we're probably the best team in the league but we're inconsistent. I've said for a while that I think we've targeted the end of the season which has been the reason for some of our poor performances earlier in the season
