Apart from that it was a good game and we nearly sneaked it. Some of our first teamers getting unnecessary stick as per usual on this forum and it's more like a crèche on here sometimes. If the team doesn't play as well as we can do, then it seems unfair to pin the blame on individual players. I understand people blaming the red because they are upset with the result but they really need to look closer to home because it was not his fault we lost tonight
You certainly cant blame the ref, the disallowed try was disappointing but fair enough. Very hard to judge whether or not it travelled forward so it hinged on the on field decision, and the 50/50 went against us. It happens. Individuals errors were what ultimately cost us.
Lets face it, even if the gap to Cas had closed to 5 points we would have faced a mountain to catch them given the cup distraction. It would have been an outside chance at best. A win would have been nice to strengthen our top 4 place, but in reality we arent in much danger of slipping out. So tonight was really a bonus. I saw nothing at all from Cas to concern me if we have to play them again in the semis, even at their place. We can comfortably handle their pack. We have their passing plays all figured out, and we know we can break them down as long as we are patient. There might never be a better chance to win the GF than this year. Its there for the taking if we can manage our resources right leading to the playoffs.

The thing is anyway.... Even if that was given....you would of started your next set on your own line. The try was dissalowed and you scored 2 minutes later roughly??? The game would have been different and who knows even if you would have scored after that..... Nobody knows so you can't say it cost you the match. (Plus it still didn't clearly go backwards )

Pretty much - if you gift Cas a 3 score lead at home by HT you're done for. Terrific comeback but still likely to end the weekend 4th. As previously discussed. We are finishing games really well right now. We were behind the sticks and Cas looked shot in the last 15 whereas we were just getting warmed up.

Sorry but thats not true - Cas controlled the game for 60 mins - stick in some FC brain farts and dropped balls from Watts and they was better

Im not saying it cost us the match , just a poor decision imo . Hope we meet again in the gf, think we are the 2 best teams this year so far quite comfortably

I thought you didn't let us play in the first half. Tight finish but you played the conditions better. No ref complaints from me, Radford saying it was fair enough. Till we meet again

Here here. Don't tell Wigan that though. Another excuse for them to say how poor this year's competition is.

Cas were the better team for 60 minutes but that was more down to what we did wrong tham what they did right. They defended really well at times and played with good intensity, but they offered very little attacking threat. We didnt necessarily deserve to win, but there are a few moral victories to take from that.
