So it looks like we'll be 4th after this weekend, Cas 4/9 with the bookies.

In his defence he did say with their best 17 and they did have one player missing, so...

Oh for god's sake. Not this again.

Sorry, but as it stands:
We are third
Salford are at home to 7th placed Huddersfield
We are away at the team top by 6 with a game in hand who are keen favourites to win.

I'm not sure us finishing the weekend 4th is an entirely outlandish scenario.

I think this thread could be accused of been a little to negative, we are in good form, beaten them twice already, as knocker said, if we turn up with the right attitude, with a real intensity, I don't see why we cant beat them again. 32-16 Hull win

Just for redress, it is a tiny minority of Cas fans who think this will be anything other than a desperately tough game.
Hull are a top team and will come and give it everything backed up by terrific support.

Hope its a great game and the atmosphere is what it should be.

4th is entirely possible. But every game you play it down as though we don't stand a chance. I just dont get it, is it your way of trying to take pressure off the team or are you just hugely glass half empty?

We're all different I suppose. I rarely make predictions on here, but I'm pretty confident leading up to the vast majority of games, dare I say it I'm pretty confident for tonight, even if it means going against logic. Sometimes that mind set means I come crashing back to Earth with a thud, but that's sport.

Maybe for Mrs B it's a case of mentally preparing for the worst, hope for the best? Or, by playing down our chances and citing the reasons why, if we come out with a win it's unexpected and even sweeter, if we lose then it was expected and so what?
