You could just about finance another 2 SL clubs by giving the championship teams next to nothing as was the case in the past.
After all, if we go back to licensing what is the point in giving £700k + to championship teams? The only reason they get that kind of money is to give some sort of chance for the teams making the middle 8's. Scrap the system and the big funding for the championship will surely be scrapped too.
This is what I believe will happen but not until 2019 there will only be tweaking for 2018.

Just about agree with this, but I'd go to 14 teams, and I can think of 20 teams I'd rather have in SL than the French or Canadians, and that includes Rovers.
