Exactly. Why doesn't the WG ever ask the difficult questions?

Does anyone REALLY think that he can turn this around now? Even his staunchest supporters are now coming round and seeing this rudderless ship for what it really is. A team devoid of talent and heart that needs almost a complete rebuild, which could take years.
He has lost the dressing room, most of the fans, his motivation and probably his own confidence. The only thing he doesn’t seem to have lost is the unwavering faith of those in charge of him.
For years we have ridiculed and mocked Koukash as he tried (and failed) to assemble a team of highly paid players from round the league… But he has learnt from his mistakes and improved. We now find ourselves being thrashed at home by Salford, which in itself is bad enough.. But what makes it even worse is we all knew it was coming.
So as the clubs around us look to improve and get better every week, we sit watching the good ship Tony Smith sink deeper into the troubled waters, while the people above him, with the water now approaching their neck, nonchalantly hold their unwavering salute... Just like some sort of Benny Hill sketch.

It is never as simple as that. The 'people above him' are very likely extremely concerned, but the choices they have for action are not clear cut. Not a new comment this, but if we need a new coach who would it be? I don't accept the 'anyone is better' argument. We could end up appointing someone just because they are available only to have that person fail even worse over 18 months and meanwhile miss out on a genuine winner who would require a contract notice period before being free to join us. If it's the players who need changing, then it seems from the rumours that we are trying to find some suitable additions.
Just been embarrassed home and away. Will Smith change the team? Not a chance. Russell, Brown, Dwyer, Hughes, Cooper, G. King... They'll all play.
It's getting beyond a joke, Smith is a stubborn Bar steward who won't/Can't admit when he's in the wrong. Everyone else in the stadium can see the blatant problems this team has. We saw it with the shocking signings being made that were barley papering over the cracks.
But instead of biting the bullet, holding his hands up and saying "Yeah, we're awful. The players I'm choosing aren't up to it and we're going to play the lads who look interested" He'll keep serving up the same shower week in week out. Taking the P**s out of the fans who have to sit and put up with it.
And all you lot who sit and applauded that on Monday, well. You're also part of the problem. When TS first arrived and turned us into a top 4 team challenging for silverware, our club turned a corner. We expect better now. We have standards now.
anyone willing to defend that drivel over the weekend and still sit there calling the boo boys out as 'not real fans' well, you need to have a long hard look at yourselves. It is you that aren't the 'real fans'. Real fans want the best for their club and wont accept displays like that.
Listen. No team has the right to win every game, I don't care how good you are. teams lose that's life. But the manner in which we're losing is a disgrace. Even in the Cullen years we could still attack and entertain.
Scoot after ruddy scoot. Halfbacks taking the ball in on the 3rd and 4th tackle. Flat attacking lines. Catching the ball standing still. Knock on's galore. Ill discipline. Matty F*****g Russell.
A tone deaf chimpanzee with a broken hearing aid, listening to the commentary via Morse code could tell you what the problem is... It's a team that has no faith in its leadership and the systems they've put in Place. They don't want to play for Tony. Or maybe its Agar they don't want to play for, who knows. Either way the dressing room has been lost. Players are running around doing their own thing, Wingers aren't communicating with their centres. No direction around the ruck. Halfbacks wondering round on the 5th tackle kicking to anywhere. No one is communicating with each other because they've lost interest. Defenders in the middle grabbing at shirts instead of putting a shoulder in.
Enough is enough. There needs to be a massive, massive clear out from top to bottom.

Agree with all the post but especially this bit. Whilst the blind faith brigade continue to clap their foam hands at that drivel - nothing will change. It takes direct action. We saw this in 2002, 2009 and it's overdue now. The fans set the culture of a club. Those in charge, including shareholders, are merely custodians.
What I struggle with most... Smith complains that Huddersfield will have one less game over bank holiday so will be fresher by time we get to play them.
But then the team is unchanged from the one embarrassed at Leeds. Other than a enforced change. Hardly fair to complain they're knackered if there is players in the stands.
What on earth has happened with Penny and Harrison!
Sponsoring Fitzpatrick's Coffee run since 2017...I used to post a lot, then I didn't

Exactly with 2 players out on loan it does not make sense. Just another excuse.
Smith is just a spoilt moaning brat! coaching a team of flip flop penalty seekers used to getting his own way! Hopefully Huddersfield will beat us and then Smith has got to go!!!
