Like i said in a previous post, missing Galloway, Garbutt and Ablett was too much for us to cope with. Mullally tries his best but i'm sorry he's not good enough and then you have a winger (WTF) Burrow and crock Delaney it's nowhere near enough the required standard to match it for a full 80 against cass when they have the likes of Moors coming on.
I take encouragement because we did match them and looked pretty comfortable for most of the first 40 minutes. If we had a near full strength side in a big big match against anyone in this league never mind Cas, i would fancy our chances as it stands. Sadly our depth beyond the 17/18/19 best players is lacking badly.
"Crock Delaney" still put in a better performance than Singleton but Cuthbertson deserves special mention with 43 tackles 145 metres in 19 carries and 5 offloads with no errors. Great starting prop!

Yes, but Cuthbertson also played a lot more minutes than other forwards. However, I do entirely agree with you though, and I also agree with the comment on Singleton, whom I am unsure why is immune from critisism each week.
Because he used to play for Leeds he's got to stay quiet and appeal for nothing? He'll have copped as much stick as he gave out, he appears to still be pals with plenty of Leeds players judging by all the tweeting malarkey.

I'm not having a pop but, you point out some of his shortcomings yourself, he behaved like a kn0b at times, got himself into bother and by most accounts was immature at best. But he was and is a damn fine rugby league player! Leeds let him go, made it clear we didn't want him, I can't think that he suddenly going to show grace and maturity, accept that he cocked up and move on with out any resentment towards GH in particular and the club in general. He has a fresh start and a new stage to demonstrate his considerable talent on. I hope he keeps his nose clean and reaches his full potential. But he may follow in the footsteps of various gifted players who pi$$ed their talent away. Leeds were right to get rid, he had had too many chances.

Rubbish post, maybe the worst ever.
He is very good mates with Watkins and Ferres. He is also Watkins childs godfather. And the wind up play yesterday was coming from Ferres and a couple from Watkins. Not sure what the problem is to be honest that he appealed. Doesn't every player have a right to appeal to something?
No issue with anything.. Nothing he doesn't do other weeks and you can't expect players to change how they approach a game just because it's against former teammates. When the first whistle goes it's 17 opposition players not 17 mates. Wouldn't want any Leeds player to alter how they go about themselves when they came up against a former club and tbf what Hardaker and the club have said publicly about one another in the aftermath of the move has all been good and no mud slinging and wishing each other the best.

singletons tackles hard, runs hard and does the basics well. he's a modern day ward or bailey. rarely has a great game but is always a 7/10. never let's you down. in a salary capped sport he is invaluable. not sure what people expect. him to be another jp? suppose we'd be better off with mullally or ormandroyd

I'm not so sure he is anything close to a Ward, Bailey, or Scruton to be honest tad. There have been periods of games in previous couple of years he has looked like a really good player, and then the majority he is a big let down. Not sure he has done enough to be a starting forward, but a kick from time to time might push him in right direction. I can think of many games he wouldn't be a 7/10 player.
