I agree to some extent regarding Johnstone, but I'd be very cautious now, given the nature of his current injury. Someone mentioned Golding offers nothing in attack, and I can understand that POV however, Hardaker looked to have similar issues whilst at Leeds, but in a different structure looks to be a lot more rounded in attack now, so I think the issues with Golding might not necessarily be his lack of ability.
On another note, I think we may have found Sutcliffe's best position, he's one of the first choice centres now IMO. It'll be interesting to see what happens with him and Keinhorst when he returns, and in the off season. One of them will be bulked up and moved into the pack on a permanent basis I think.

Yep it's good to see Sutcliffe improving, his kicking' been great the past few weeks, and without the playmaker responsibilities he's been doing well. Would like to see him at 13 eventually.

Johnstone has suffered an ACL injury though and won't be fit until around Xmas so I don't think it's wise to sign a player who'll be coming off the back of a serious injury. He might return just fine from it but bit of a risk, can often take several months for them to start showing previous form.
Maybe see if McGillvary doesn't want to carrying on playing for a team struggling in the bottom 4. Won't help his longer term England/GB chances even if he is still just keeping his shirt atm.

Re: his goal kicking, I was pleasantly surprised to see the stat that Sky showed Saturday that Sutty is 3rd on the goal kicking charts with regards to success rate. Think his was about 85%, Gale was I think 86% and Sneyd was 91%

I have said for years that Sutty is a centre Tad I have watched academy footy for years and he has always looked at his best as a wide runner rather than an organiser and he's never gonna be good enough to make our back row imo

I always thought wide running second row was his game mate but i'm chuffed he has finally found his position. he needed to stop being a jack of all trades. that's if he's kept there mind

For me the difference tonight was Cas had a good half back and we didn't. We boxed above our weight in the forwards and just about matched them. In the backs we matched them apart from our right wing choices. Still not sure why Baldwinson didn't get in the 17 in place of Handley. Briscoe for me has looked gash all season.

We're in there with a chance this season. It will be very tight in the games that matter at the end of the season and if we finish in the top 4 we still have ability and experience. Despite what cas fans will say about them being "a cut above ..end off" yadda yadda.
