Good performance tonight and nice to see us not taking our foot off the gas for once. Worrying number of injuries though and hopefully they'll all come through for next week
did the job and despite a 10 min period after the first two tries were we seemed to push it too much and gave away silly penalties it was a decent performance. Catalans no better than a middle 8 Championship team. Raps to Thompson, shows his versatility and usefulness to the team. Brad Fash getting stuck in, Connor upping his stock and Albert doing his thing. Shame about the knocks though. Well done to the 6,000 or so that made the effort, funny cos we were told East stand was sold out (when getting extra ticket) and were forced to buy a south stand ticket. Turns out that was rubbish

shaul was on the radio saying it was a minor knock and he's had it before on the patela tendon and he shakes it off (the injury not the tendon). griffin must have failed the head test. does he have to sit out a week? if so then as the next game is more than 7 days away could he play? might not be needed if carlos is back. fonua will be a big doubt as hamstring injuries can vary a lot in severity. talk about sneyd is a possible broken toe but might be rumour only. he might tweet later
From a Catalan viewpoint we should have excluded all 5 of our numbers 1 to 17 who played . 2 of them were carried off injured.Sorry that we could not give you a decent game. I would have gone ,but I knew what would happen.French Rugby league has only produced 3 really good players in the last 10 years-Bousquet Gigot and Fages-with Springer ,Albert and Yaha not far off the pace. In my view none of the rest who played tonight will be good enough.

I think from our first try on about 2 minutes it was clear this game wasn't a priority for you guys; your focus will be all around avoiding the middle 8s but even if you don't with the quality you have on the sidelines returning you should breeze through them and regroup for 2018.

I thought Thompson looked much better out wide rather than in the middle, not big enough for that role, so I'd like to see him play out wide in the backrow rather than prop or LF.
