Can't see how Championship rugby will give JA fitness which all other regimes have failed to deliver ? Only he can sort out - hope he does but not holding breath.
Really?
A player being pushed to the top of his game on a weekly basis to play in a first team environment would not have a positive effect on both his fitness levels, but also his experience and decision making?
I think the long term plan for Abdul (my opinion, ) was to gain match fitness / experience so be a ready made replacement for either Ellis / Mini, should one of these hang up their boots.
Watching Abdul week in week out as i am, i feel i am qualified to inform on this.
Not only is his confidence and game management improving week on week, but his fitness and build is changing. Not sure if you have caught any highlights anywhere but he is looking slimline, fit and athletic.

Great move for the lad this is becoming.
Would you move him to 13 in your current line up or leave him at 6 for now?
As for Westerman, I wasn't that gutted when he left and wonder what the reasons would be for him and us if we are considering taking him back so soon, whats changed about him as a player and us as a team that we feel we miss him in our squad
People had it in for Westy from day one here. He was (through no fault of his own) bought during the time we were being royally screwed by uncle Kath. When basically it was - 'yes we're driving this club to the ground, but look who we've bought for a 6-figure sum' every off season. He was our best player for two of the years he was here and in the top 3 or 4 in the others.
That said, we simply don't play a style that suits his style anymore and our 13 is basically an extra prop. To be fair that's how Agar used to play, but he had Thorman & Washy in the halves whereas Radford has Sneyd & Kelly.

Give it a rest, you was wrong, accept it, Westerman overated , never fulfilled his "potential" whilst at Hull, him leaving was the catalyst for a better Hull FC. Just look at Warrington now, I dont care if hes been one of Warringtons better players, still overated and not what we need.

I just think if the club think he,s the right player to add to the squad now, bearing in mind what we stand to lose out of the pack over the next year or two then let them get on with it, after all how many said on here that they would,nt touch albert Kelly with a barge pole, hey radders and his staff have done a pretty good job with recruitment in the last couple of years

Spot on!
The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.
