If Fonua does goes which looks increasing likely do you thing Radford will go for a similar player size wise or do we think we should go for pure pace. Also with Fonua likely destination been the West Tigers anyone think a punt at Rankin coming back. Last season he played a full Season on the wing and did very well, he is current playing reserve grade

5 years ago, I would have said that you can put anyone on the wing really that could do half a job and be error free. Nowadays, they are a vital part of the team. They need to have good kick return, land on their front to get the momentum into the set. Be good in the air as they can be bombarded. They need to have agility to finish tries in the corner with the corner post now not being classed as in play. I dont think we really have a winger that can score a try like Makinson, Lineham, Burgess, Hall etc. so if there is a strong ball carrying, flying try scoring winger out there who is good in the air, can we sign him please?
Agree there doesn't, seem to be many realistic targets about. Not sure on BJB and McGillvary will require a large fee. Would love to see someone leave a big club for us to show a changing of the guard. How is Charnley dong in Union ?
McGillvary would be my personal choice, but he's contracted until the end of 2020 I believe, so unless they go down or AP gets the chequebook out, I can't see it happening. I rate Johnstone highly too despite him not being the type of winger we'd usually go for, but he's is tied up at Wakey until 2020 too.

Not as well as the other English winger Denny Solomona
He would be Wigan bound anyway if he were to come back to League

Depends if Johnstone wants to end up playing for the Coventry Trinity Wildcats
