Yeah, if they backed him and let him have a full season. Put it this way, Warrington were still after him and wanted to pair him with Morgan Smith going forward. They have been after him since before he signed first deal with Leeds, and were fined by RFL for illegal approach. He does prefer fullback though.

From watching him in one game against Hudds , he looked class. He ran 2 or 3 lines in support of a player with the ball where if they had passed to him , he would have been clear. He was the only bright spot on a dour night , when our coach again showed his brainless side - a bit like Danny Brough tonight.

I agree with Gotcha that young Walker could make it in halves and in next yr or 2 theres going to be a couple of vacancies there and with Golding looking good at 1 also i think we need to push Jack into halves.
He has everything to be a success there. He reads the game well, supports fantastically, has outstanding footwork and more than enough pace to scare teams. The more times the ball is in his hands the better it will be.
A word of caution tho, he is 17 and looks it so no need to rush him and no need to pressure him when the inevitable dip in form and mistakes happen. They happened with the golden generation and they will happen with Jack but my what an outstanding prospect. Looks at 1st team level like he has always looked to me....sheer class.

I would like to see Walker play in this one perhaps on the wing with Briscoe to centre. This would allow Ward to give more mobility to the pack as if Walker doesn't play and Ward plays in the centres we will have too many props in the forwards.

ward was poor at centre at easter and Briscoe is far too immobile. I hope Sutcliffe and moon are in there, even if moon is just for a game before he goes back to 6

Sutcliffe and Moon are the centres, don't think he had much choice but to move the latter from HB. Oledzki on the bench along with Lilley with Ormondroyd the player to miss out (along with Walker who as mentioned was in the u19's). Singleton for me has to step up in Garbutt's absence, I imagine Catalans will be after getting stuck into him after what he did to Bird in the home fixture.
