If there's a better English centre out there than Watkins, I've yet to see him. Similar for McGillvary, he was one of most effective players in last years tests. You could maybe make a call for Joe Burgess I suppose. Ratchford is a great squad player to have do to his versatility (although why he's not put Hardaker FB I don't know). O'Loughlin, again is there a better English 13 out there?
Brown is in because Williams & Widdop are out.

When he was out here last season Hardaker was not played as a fullback and played some solid games at centre for Penrith. Bennett was a great admirer of Jack Reed and following his departure from the game I believe he sees Hardaker as out of the same mould.
Will be there for the 3 matches as it's always a fun day when the Pacific Islanders are playing. Samoa are fielding a strong team so will give England a real test.
