We certainly do, and we are all entitled to them.

Very good signing for Toronto, the home fans will love the imminent try-fest! To the guys who are concerned about Ryan's decisions, probably a better strategy to concentrate on your own. Ryan now has the experience of being a Super League player, which can only serve him well for the future - when inevitably Tornoto will enter Super League. If the funding continues, it appears to be a very exciting time for Toronto RL. And whether you admit it or not, Rowley's style of rugby was pretty good to watch and the majority of rugby league fan's pay to be entertained, period!

Loved Rowley's style of play. Great signing for Toronto. I'd go watching them if the 34X bus stopped there but I don't think it does.

Wish Ryan all the best. Always played his heart out for Leigh. He'll flourish under Rowley's coaching again.

Happily I am just 45 minutes away from Toronto's stadium although I used to be only 10 minutes drive away. Already have tickets for the first game against Oxford and would not be at all surprised to see Toronto score 100. Will be wearing my Leigh shirt of course!

Charlie & Wysiwyg, you've already heard the news then that Toronto have so much money to burn that they are now hiring professional fans otherwise the pair of you wouldn't be hawking your pearlies so shamelessly. :D

As well as cash incentives, Chas (btw hope you are well), they are offering bookings at the State Circus of Ontario.

Ryan obviously didn't want to jump back on a sinking ship ... clever lad

Leigh to win challenge cup before 2020
Leigh to reach Grand Final by 2022

Derek to get a queens honour (mbe) by 2025

Oh Leigh oh Leigh oh Leigh

He's no good - the lad is huge but couldn't bust through a wet paper bag. He was crap at Wigan, he was crap here, and christ knows why Saints then signed him. Predictably, he was crap there as well.

He's now where he belongs, in NL1.[/quote]

Good Evening Bongser, yes I'm OK, at present in a Log Cabin somewhere in Cumbria ,just watched the Widnes game , the Mutants are only 1 point behind us now.
I've never been swayed by cash offers, or bribes, mainly because I've never been offered them, I just agree with WISIWYG ,who has always been a learned Soothsayer. As for the state of the Circus in Ontario ?I'm not sure,if they allow animal acts over there.I'm already missing Louie, though.

Out of interest, do you think the Toronto fans will be happy with such anhialisations- or would they appreciate more competitive games

Could this season not lose the Fan base due to the monotomony of it all

As for the experienced fans it would/is monotonous. The mass majority of Canadian fans will be learning the game regardless of the score. Then from a marketing point of view you have to have success in order to progress.80 nil drubbings is the way to promote success and give the appearance they already a league above the rest to start with.

Quite easy to keep that expectation alive, whilst the learning curve is in place. For me yes Toronto have to show to their fans they can more than compete in this sport, whether they had to go to such expense in building the squad early doors carries the question mark?
