As a stand in, I seriously think Connor could do a job at Hooker, spelling it with Washy for the time been. As for Gansons son, it's something I heard today, incase Houghton is looking to be sidelined even longer and also Ellis not expected to take the field next season, but accept a two year coaching staff offer. Guess we'll find out at the end of the season.

Have you forgotten Litten? Thought he stood up very well against Stewart and Weston. It was his scoot from dummy half that led to our 4th and final try. I'd be more than happy continuing to drip feeding him into games as Radders has been.

Of course I haven't, I just think Connor would work very well with Washy for the time been. But Connor could also be a very good option off the bench once Houghton is back to give him a breather during games. Especially with Radders being persistent on having Connor on the bench.

at least 2k from Cas it will be. Hopefully more. As somebody said we have took over 2k away to all of our sunday afternoon games so far.
I expect you to win. We looked real tired in both games over Easter.
A loss for us wouldnt be the end of the world. We would still be top of the league through the first half of the season having played the so called bigger teams all away from home. Hull away Wigan away Salford away Widnes away (not a big team but tough pitch) Warrington away Saints away all done so dare I say the run in should be a little easier. A win on Sunday and we go 2 wins clear at the half way point of the regular season.
Hull to give us our biggest loss of the season. Somehwere between 12-20points Hull win is my prediction.

I'd keep Connor at centre for now, even if Griffin is fit....First half of the Wigan game aside, I haven't seen too much from him to suggest he's a first choice player. Side felt a bit more balanced with Conor at centre yesterday, much tighter in defence .

I don't know where this idea of playing Connor at 9 has come from. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure he's ever played there?

Why does that matter? Players change positions all the time (look at Whiting, he played every position there is during his time with us). Nothing stopping a player from the backs ending up as a forward. Personally I think he has all the right attributes to make it as a hooker. Anyways, never said he should become a acting half, just that he'd be a good stand in. Especially with Radford adamant he's on the bench.

Just seems a bit square pegs in round holes. If we're going to use someone to spell Houghton, why not use a hooker? Litten's game is different to the player Houghton is now. He does well to get out of the ruck quickly, I think it could work well him playing 10/15 mins either side of half time. Just out of interest, did you go to Leigh yesterday, or seen the game back on FC Live?
Wonder if Radford has seen enough from Litten to keep him on the bench when Houghton returns? Can't see him having both Litten and Connor on the bench, so probably not. Think he's also quite protective with the young players and doesn't tend to overplay them. Litten does add impact off the bench, which is something we lack.
