Was it three times we gave away penalties whilst we had the ball and if so what was it for? I was in south east corner so couldnt really see what was going on with any of them and everyone else seemed baffled around us too

I know Pritchard wasn't value for money, but he added impact and gave teams something to think about. We just don't have any impact off the bench. Thompson is ineffective for me and I'd rather see Hadley on the bench and Thompson out on loan. I feel as though I've spent the last 160 minutes in games just watching the oppositions attacking moves. I've not seen my own team play anything other than catch up panicky rugby for 20 minutes after each half time. We had players back this week as well. Not panic stations yet, but conceding 100+ points in two home games is something I wouldn't have imagined last season.
We can't have a Pritchard because we are over the cap AND the owner is not interested in a marquee player because we "only just broke even last year"...Radford's own words in an interview a few weeks ago regarding the increase. He may have had an impact on a couple of occasions but not often enough and he put pressure on the other forwards due to his inability to do more than 10-15 m minute stints in some games and even then due to the tactic of using him in the wrong position was ineffective. We will not have an impact/marquee player next year either unless the owner decides the risk is worth it financially.

You see that quote on every forum for every team. The referees must be cleverer than I gave them credit for. Do they have courses on how to penalise every team but at the same time let that team go unpunished.
Inconstancy is all too prevalent and a major failing of referees as we all know but to suggest one team suffers more than any other is just due our blinkered view as a fans.

Push/interference with the marker(s). Can't do it. Like walking off the mark which some refs police others don't.

I have no problems with those decisions, what annoyed me and others is a set or 2 after Leeds twice pushed a player in the face just like Manu did and it was ignored.

The time when Manu did it, he did it at the play the ball and then went for a second go. The first time I thought "don't be stupid, we've got momentum!" and was relieved when nothing happened. When he walked forward and went for it again, even I'd have blown the whistle. It was pure idiocy. That killed off any comeback we could have had. It was the end of our pressure and the start of what we're three consecutive penalties in a minute (resulting in our captain getting binned). Game changing moment.
inot saying it would have affected final result, but when are other clubs going to copy the leeds foreward pass percentage game, they know for every 10 foreward passes you throw, you will only get pulled up once, possibly twice at most.i know every club throws the occasional foreward pass, but leeds have it off to a fine art.

Was just taking before the game how well Manu has started the season and doesn't seem to be giving away as many silly penalties as last year, seemed to lose his head, hopefully this will calm him down again.
