The stupid laying on, the lifting of legs, stripping of balls. If we didn't stupidly do these things then the ref wouldn't be in a position to use his own interpretation. So no they are penalties because they are penalties. You get the drift.....
But they're not unless the ref says so. How many times are teams (not just us) pulled up for a non-offence and yet minutes later a blatant incident is ignored. No wonder refs are held in such low esteem. Don't respond with "they're only human" as their decisions can seriously affect the result of a game and yet in most cases they don't suffer the consequences of their decisions.

I think it's the frustration when we get penalised and then the opppsitiom do the same thing and goes unpunished.

We could have had six referees on the pitch yesterday and still been blown away. indiscipline, poor defence some poor kicks from Sneyd,no dummy runners in attack and people blame the referee.

Have I said referee was responsible for our display. I was pointing out their deficiencies. We were to blame for the result but consistent decision making would make us all a little less critical.

I suspect the fans of most clubs feel hard done to by the ref from time to time. I think that's probably because refs get it wrong from time to time, but in a largely unbiased manner. They are human and they will make mistakes. I try to believe that over the course of a season it evens itself out and hope that not too many games are lost due to the ref.

If it was one ref, then I would understand, but our discipline has been shocking all season. 6 players sinbinned numous bans. My biggest concern about us this season and unless it improves it's going to be a tough season
