If we had 10 players capable of defending like Hinchcliffe we wouldn't be losing so many games. .
our attack was worse with brierley....the worst i have ever seen was against leigh away...this prompted the move from full back for gaskell and the dropping of brierley. the poster asked why brierley wasnt playing...so that maybe the reason why.
other post was replying to another poster about moving brough to hooker...for that to happen yes brierley would come back in and get another chance with gaskell... which they have combined once against castleford..i didnt make that game so cant say much about how it went. brierley and gaskell is different to brierley and brough at halfback.
said my piece on wardle, get over it
yep hinchcliffe is a grafter and can tackle, bit like lawrence and we do need those in the team but for the salary he will be on could we do better? i think so.
mamo impressed lastnight, i know you would like him to fail as you didnt like us signing him but hey ho
hope thats cleared thing up for you abit but no doubt you will come back with more argumentative drivel

where are shakefield playing next season btw?? dewsbury?
I see your still peddling the myth about Shakesfield squire, the only connection is we both have the same landlord, the difference is we get first dibs where as you and the terriers, well the least said about that the better. The only thing I read about the giants on here is your excuses when you lose and tbh you seem to be making a habit of it the last couple of years quite amusing really
chissitt wrote:Not sure what it has got to do with Wakefield but it does help when a coach has better players to coach. Can't see your comparison really the league tells you who are championship grade and unfortunately for your club once again as of last year it looks like your club are heading for the middle eights, as against the Trin who look to be heading once again for the top eight, not wanting to criticise your coach but might I remind you about Huby, Wood and hitherto our player of the season Scott Grix, anyway from a grateful Wakey fan thank you if not though for the back handed compliment.
That's the exact point I'm making, and it is a compliment to your coach. Huby looked unfit and useless for us under 2 different coaches last year, wood got 15 mins here and there behind the likes of Jamie Ellis and Hinchcliffe and was clearly not fancied much, Grix was underrated particularly for his organisation and brain. Now all of a sudden all 3 are doing a great job at Wakey. We don't have the best squad of players, but it is better than our league position and the way that they keep playing. But they are only better than this if they are coached, organised and set up to do so.

can change to dewsfield
If the terrific Terriers win promotion to the PL you'll deffo be playing second fiddle to them at their stadium, you never know you might end up sharing with Sheffield at Bellevue on a few occasions, wouldn't that be something remembering the good, sorry bad old days when Shuddersfield were first formed

Except it's not the terriers stadium like the Giant they own part shares in it- and not majority shares either and have a lease. Unlike Wakefield who can boast full ownership of that pathetic crumbling excuse for a stadium .... oh ... hang on....

Really I suppose you tossed up with the Terrific Terriers to see who played on Wednesday night, and you obviously lost

Not too bright down your way eh? Playing Catalan- so zero away fans, we get few walk ups whatever night/day we play. It's Easter so a busy time- Let's move our game to Wednesday, we lose no revenue but get a couple of extra days recovery time than our Monday opposition... too smart for wakey?

just to be clear on the shares at the stadium
40% football 40% council 20% giants
so yes we do play second fiddle to the football club at times. football is king in this country anyway. even wigan play second fiddle to their stadium partners.
where are shakefield playing next season?? not answered that one my bet would be dewsbury but then again you could end up with trips to coventry

It matters little what day of the week you play Catalans they will bring zero fans, as you say it's a busy Easter and the Terrific Terriers would be expecting a bumper crowd against Preston as against yourselves who would only have the home fans what had not got anything planned for the weekend. So what we have is you having to play second fiddle to the main tenants of the ground once again, and luckily for you having to play Wednesday gave you two extra days off to prepare for Monday, as for losing no revenue are you saying that playing on a Wednesday night as against playing good Friday means you will not lose revenue, and you say were not very bright down our way, your spin on the situation borders on the desperation but if it helps keep on believing it, love the insults btw
