The Sport Social Media Index is an annual league table of all 146 British professional football, rugby and cricket teams, ranked according to the best use of social media by their official club channels. Launched in 2013, the annual Index is compiled by measuring the social media performance of each team based, not just on an algorithm, but also qualitative analysis by a panel of three judges. Rovers are top, and we are 36th. Obviously this is just a review of your online presence, and doesn't take into account what the club does in the Community which is fantastic

I think Hulls is excellent, not sure what else they could do.

When things are going OK there's less to react to or defend. Get some controversy or failure and there's damage limitation or distraction needed from the club's media department. The various specific sports tables shown seem to bear that out and that there'll also be more activity when a club wins something. Don't think it's necessarily a reflection on what's being done , whether it's being done well etc
If you look at the criteria used its quite frankly rubbish. To succeed you need to jam in as many different social media streams as possible and post frequently on Facebook and Twitter especially. Furthermore you get credit for "growth" but this is adjusted to the level of the cubs support. Which means someone like Man Utd could add the dobbins average attendance over the year and get a smaller percentage increase than if a few dozen freshly "recycled" phones in the Pooorhouse Lane area log in to the dobbins facebook page.

Isn't all media social in that it talks to you, relates to you, communicates with you? I don't think you can really have anti-social media cos if you did there would just be a blank screen or your computer would just give you the middle finger or punch you or something. I was drinking last night.
Reason Rovers no ! is for the last two years in decline the Club has bombarded fans with get this, get that, telling them how great they are player who have been there a hour telling them how great the fans are. When a player farts its on twitter.
