Suppose if there is any game you wouldn't mind playing on a Wednesday night at home it's against the Dragons. It's normally a flat atmosphere at the best of times on a weekend. Plus gives us an extra days prep over Warrington.
Catalans back to some form at Leigh, but they unfortunately picked up injuries to Burgess & Baitieri.
Stone has said Leroy could possibly be back - that would get that side of the field ticking again. Might even see Mamo! If mamo does feature then I'd be tempted to put him on the wing initially. The question then is who goes out side the rookie winger who's a bit rusty with a dodgy ankle? - do we put even more rookie wood on the opposite side, turnstile and also quite a rookie mellor, or move smurph inside for a bit of stability?
stone says it's likely symonds and taai back possibly game after.
So that means Leroy had picked up an injury, and not rested which I was wondering about.Probably not been on the top of his form so far but glad to have his experience back at right centre anyway if it happens.
Without wanting to be churlish about what was a good fightback, with Brough back on the left side,St Helens attacked our right edge and it has to be said it was found wanting on defence for the 3 tries.Might have been great rest of the game,I wasn't in attendance.
It might be a good call to get Murphy into left centre and Mamo (if he plays) on the left wing.
Another talking point, without wanting to be negative, two of our tries came from kicks, very good kicks I might add,but the comms said in the first half it was the old failings, lack of creativity or structure meant no points on the scoreboard.
Our attack even now is still a work in progress.
A point gained, hope we can build on that on Wednesday.

cudjoe had that knee problem a few weeks back, obviously still paining him, just have to be managed
mamo to full back for me
sam wood deserves a centre spot ahead of mellor
catalans have lost two of their forwards from the last game so thats bonus for us, fancy a win for this game
stone says mamo could interchange between wing and full back to break him in
We can win this game if we get our heads right, Dragons like to play it rough in the forwards, we have to play it rougher, we are as good as them we just need to believe it.

bookies opened up with catalans as faves for this game, thought the 11/10 on a giants win was generous! others obv felt the same as the betting has switched around.
hope we have a better reaction to our last draw (v wigan) then went and lost at cas!
