Don't have to make a day of it, it's not cheap to follow sports nor could you convince any outsider it's a good investment of your time and money. My only expense on Hull FC in the past couple of years has been season pass, bar cup semi and Wembley last year, seeing as I decided to go spend £27k on a bit of paper to tell people I can fix things. I know I'm lucky to live in walking distance to the KCOM, but it doesn't have to be a huge expense either way.
Back on topic, Rule always seemed slimey and I never liked him, and I remember explaining the Hetheringtons set up to a mate and it was one of those moments where you hear yourself say something and realise how ridiculous it is.

2 salary cap breaches, Reardon, Gleeson/Long and drugs. Banned from the cup due to playing unregistered players, Crocker (lack of homework on the deal before anyone get their kegs in a twist) Brough and Faumouina, Kear and Cooke. Brawling in the bars on Prinny Av.
How on earth was he given shares in the club, I'll never know
Some managed to see right through him, and the other cronies.
When did we get banned from the CC (not defending Rule, but I must have been asleep that year?)

We were never banned from the cup.
One cap breach was prior to Rule being CEO
Rule became CEO in 2007, Brough left in 2006, Faumuina played in 2005 (not sure what the issue is here to be honest) Kear left in 2006 and Cooke was down to Plummer not having much ink in his pen.
Was Rules given Shares? If he was its not difficult to see how as his in-laws were further up the food chain.
You never saw through anything judging by the amount of mis information you have posted on this thread.

Don't start peddling facts, if there isn't enough rumour and conjecture the RLfans hamster wheel stops turning, and JTP and knockersbump might start feeling lonely, they may even turn to, Erm, WORK?!?!

We'd have a nice time then go watch FC and it'd ruin it so i thought id spend my money elsewhere at that time ok cockle
A bit unfair to include those as if it's the club's fault those discretionary purchases are expensive IMO.

Well quite. Going to check the register of shares though to see whether he ever had any.
