There seems to be a lot of rumours on the boards of an increase in the amount clubs get for selling away tickets from 10% of face value to 25%. Does anyone know if this is correct? I have to say that when I attend away matches I don't usually buy a ticket in advance as it's a ball ache for me to get into Hull to get them but if the club can benefit significantly then I'll probably find a way.
As an example, if every Hull fan had bought their tickets for the wakey game from the club it could have been worth something like £15k to us so not insignificant

James Clark was on RH last night and alluded to this. I'm not sure whether it has been implemented or it's in the discussion stage. Very good idea.

I always buy my tickets from the club. More and more grounds are moving away from pay turnstiles so it makes sense and as mentioned, the club gets a little bonus too.

Can you not purchase away tickets online from the FC website and print them off?

No its not a rumour Jake, according to League Express (this week) this decision was passed last week .The move was proposed strongly by Hull FC and Leeds and was carried with a vote of 7-4 in favour of the change to 25%.The four clubs who objected were Waky,Wigan,Hudds and Leigh. So if you plan on travelling away make sure you get your tickets from our club. Does not say who abstained, can only assume Les Cats.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.

Great news for any club that has a lot of travelling supporters. Can see why Huddersfield won't be happy where there's probably at least a couple of thousand difference between their and our travelling support.

No, they are sent in physical form from the clubs. They post them out to you though, I always get mine posted if they've not got them in when we're there for a home game.

How much did people pay at Wakey for the tickets bought from the club, I paid £21 as I bought them from the Wakefield website, I met a mate there and I sure that he said he paid £24

My mum and dad always buy theirs from the Hull club shop and the Wakey game cost them £21. I paid on the day and it was £24. Thought it was a bit steep to be honest to stand in that well with no cover!!

So thats over a tenner your mum and dad have ploughed back into our club. You can see just on those two tickets alone what a benefit being a well supported club away from home means.
