Nice to see Reece getting pushed ahead. The club have really really stood by him through the injuries he has been so unlucky with. Such a massive talent if the injuries have not effected him. I know the club saw him as the future fullback before the injuries, just see if he can kick on now.
As for anything else, not sure how the first team is going to benefit at all from this game. And Hetherington has yet again publically made himself look a mug, considering his previous interview about a strong team.

Is the Hunslet game really meant to benefit the first team? If so, surely a like v like fixture would serve better.

For such a disjointed underperforming team, then yes it should be used to benefit the first team. Certainly Hetheringtons interview earlier in week suggested such a thing.
On another note, anyone know what has happened to Connor Sunderland? there was a young player with the world at his feet before McDermott and his team got hold of him. Seems to have dropped off face of earth since. Such a wasted talent if so.
