good game really gave our young players a real test I was very impressed with Wray, Jez, Massi, Lee, the young part time player, Fash and lane and silk all played well it really looks good for the future I'm not a fan of these sort of games no one likes losing a derby but out of the 2 coaches Radford has to be happy what he has seen from his youngsters our middle was good just our edges where a bit exposed with young lads been a bit over run MOM match for me Jack Wray ball in hand looked great (Rovers enjoy your cup final lol)
No cup final. Pleased with the win obviously but more pleased Sheen kept main pivots on together for long periods. They need to gel and fast. One thing that did not sit right was the fact a few of yours didn't have anumber. I know they won't be part of the first team but if that's the one and only time they play in the "first team" at least give them the badge of honour of playing number #. I may be being petty but I would find it a true honour stepping out for either team so a number to tell your kids would have been terrific.

I think Radford requires certain things to be achieved before a squad number is given out and uses as a sort of target/reward/differentiator between senior/junior reserves. But it was annoying today in the second half with so many numberless. My mum listened on RH and they had no idea who was playing for Hull.

Lloyd was moaning. He even said he was angry at Hull for playing with some un-numbered shirts.
actually thought it was a decent game, rovers played well, and to be fair our youngsters never threw in the towel, Kelly could be a real bonus for us imo, thought wray played well and turgut did ok, its a friendly and a good run out for both teams with different aims, crowd was better than I thought but didn't get the number

I thought the young lads did well against a strong Rovers side, Kelly did well and showed flashes, pick of the young lads for me was Wray and Matonga, I fully expect the latter to play a few SL games this year, could push Green towards the end of the year for that 4th bench spot IMO.
Future looks bright, not sure about Carlos though, needs to show more IMO and his place is under threat IMO.
