I see no controversy here, which I figure is what you are trying to stir up with your spin on the news release.
Congratulations to both vice captains, both quality players and people from all accounts. I also expect Cory Paterson to be equally effective and influential as last season.

Its predominantly a new squad filled with experience.As long as there is someone in control when Higham leaves the field,I couldn't care less who is vice captain.

Glenn Stewart,must count as the most experienced senior player who has obviously made his mark pre-season,I doubt Cory has any quarm with either player being chosen above him.

Mario,there's nowt wrong with being a bit controversial now and again, but you seem to get off on being negative ALL the time ,someone has to be Vice Captain ,Jukesy probably sees GS and HH as his leaders this year's nothing more, I'm sure even Corey sees it the same.
The season is a month from kick off and folk are looking for things to sling,Mario your posts on the Salford Forum are similar, let's be positive , I for one can't wait for the new season to start.I'm happy Cokey's cat has returned.

Corey will be in a senior players group, he will have a great 2017 and continue to put his body on the line, as he did so heroically in 2016

Absolutely spot on. Quite a few of our players have spoken of the qualities Stewart has brought into the fold.

There is nothing to see here folks, just quality, experienced captains and vice captains and a senior pool of players with similar qualities ready to fulfill these roles whenever they are needed to be called upon
