Indeed. Again, it's the true fans i feel for, they have been let down terribly over the last decade, it should never have been allowed to get to this point.

Why would a very clever businessman invest in a business like this?
The quality of the business attracts an appropriate level of manager/owner - this is a rotten business with zero prospects of it ever being much else. Why would anyone risk their reputation on a lost cause - it is only the desperate who see an opportunity to pay themselves a serious wedge until the money runs out. That is what has happened at this club.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
