I'm told Rhinos made an offer to buy out the remainder of Mellors contract with Bulls last month but got turned down, might be worth another phonecall in light of this? Definitely strikes me as one of their better players.

How do you sell the registration of a player that you've broken the contract with? I get what you are saying and that normally underpins a transfer (you are buying the registration of the player) but it can't apply in the case of a broken contract. Let's hope th Bulls have appointed better administrators his time than they did in the past, where they appeared to be little more than vultures picking over a carcass...
