As we now see Bradford going into admin again for the 4th time in about 6 years I ask you to cast your eyes over the formation of Keighley Cougars (2010) Ltd.

What we may not have is a currently successful team, bearing in mind I would say we were extremely unlucky to be relegated, what we appear to have is a relatively sustainable club which as far as I can gather hasn't had any significant financial problems since 2009. Money will no doubt be tight and as such we now are experiencing a reduced playing budget, Fawcett has taken a bashing on here from some angles recently however the word in the press and from the new coach is sustainability of a younger team and trying to build annually. Personally i think we have a good squad and might do better than the expectations.

At times like these think ourselves lucky we aren't Bradford fans, we have had our fair share of administration, but not since Fawcett took over. Dont worry im not on commission, his brother or indeed his lover. Ive never properly even met him. But what i do know is we havent gone bust for 6 years and have a club to watch with some (more) realistic goals.

We are still running a second team in 2017, in times when Salford have given up because of money. Id say thats pretty admirable, also were not properly committed to any duel reg nonsense.

Could be a case of where the Cougars lead the others follow. It has happened previously.
