Don't know why people think it's funny, potentially excellent signing, but if it goes wrong we have our cup winning halfback to fall back on. If he plays like he did in his first season, we won't be far off winning something again, just what we are missing.

correct. i can't see where we can go wrong with this. if it works we will step up another level in attack (stand off was our only weak area last season) and if it fails then we still have all of last years 1st team minus pritchard who under performed anyway, and also young jake connor waiting for his chance too. we are now strong enough to let the likes of jordan abdul go out on loan. discipline is unlikely to be an issue at FC either - would you want to answer to Ellis, Minichiello and Sika Manu in the dressing room?
