His previous club weren't well run at all, had a big drugs scandal, has Kelly ever played for a team challenging?
Surely if on a lower salary, he will be motivated to earn a better one.
Different situation to Rovers as he won't be our main player and we have cover if it doesn't work out.

Difference is he travelled to the other side of the world to play behind the likes of Donaldson, clarkson not exactly world class eh? Radders has the club running right under no false pretences, the paycut is of his own doing, but he has an incentive at our club, why would he need to fill him in? We will just play Connor, CT or fetch Abdul back.

Do you honestly believe that Rovers to save a few quid would jeopardise the future of the club by trying to force Albert out? Moreover why would they do this to one of our most talented players if he was contributing as he should have been?
As for selling him a pup, he was one of the best paid players in SL, I'm sure that cushioned the blow!
(Oh and by the way it was the players who didn't want him in the side due to his behaviour!) He was a disgrace.
So he helped you achieve your goal of getting relegated,which if you read the hull daily mail is a actually been a massive positive,,you should be thanking him..
Love the way the Dobbins are demonising Kelly, and yet they've been hero worshipping Cockayne for years. They are a classless club who are quick to dispense of players and/or badmouth those that gave good service (especially their owner) when they leave. The fact that players like Watts, Kelly, Micky P and McDonnell chose our club over theirs in recent history speaks volumes. Hope Kelly plays to his potential at a good club, with a good environment, to sicken the Dobbins off even more.
Where have I demonised Kelly? His problems are his own doing, he is talented no doubt, dubious attitude absolutely. It is funny though when he was with us he's a liability, now he may be with you he is the new messiah who will lead you to the promised land!
I will finish by saying this, when he first signed for a Rovers, I got chatting to a senior player of yours at a party and he told me exactly what would happen with Albert and he was absolutely bang on!
