So to sign Kelly we would have to let Frank go to stay under the cap, is that correct? It's just that AP didn't mention having to let a big name go with respect to making more signings. Or we have cap space to sign Kelly without shipping another player out?
Carlos must be wondering what the hell is going on...

No, he would be released so we have a quota spot, not salary cap. I would release Michaels not Pritchard

Would like to congratulate Albert Kelly on becoming super talented, the type of player we need, a maverick, a risk worth taking, a superb talent and nobel peace prize winner especially considering how he was previously fat, useless, lazy, damaged, a risk not worth taking and i remember him getting called cancerous to the club by some on these boards.
A transformation only matched by Lee Radfords eye watering ability to go from pub landlord to rugby genius. You lot do make me laugh at times.
FWIW - Truly is a great player, as most KR fans will agree. He brought excitement to Craven Park especially in 2015 that ive not seen before. However, the make up of a man is what happens when chips are down and this guy is not somebody i would want to go into battle with. Gareth Ellis has more professionalism in his right achilles then Kelly. If he's not your main guy which he won't be i imagine, then he could do well. I fully expect him to self implode again however especially if he does not play week in week out, then our blackpool sun baked faces from across t'river will rightly say we told you so.

Not like a Rovers fan to embellish what is said on this forum...you lot do make me laugh at times.
So, you genuinely believe none of them things got said about Albert Kelly when he played for KR?
Come on mate, do us all a favour and let's not pretend there isn't a humorous bit of irony about you signing a player you all slagged off something rotten, and even better then that now all build him up. It's a classic FC-ism, exhibit A - Lee Radford.

You Dobbins do make me laugh with your exaggeration
I am sure if we look at any teams forum we would see similar contrasting views depending on whether a player is staying or leaving.
It seems quite clear that IF we are getting the 2015 Kelly he will be a great signing but IF 2016 version then we will be very disappointed.
However, at least we appear to be adding incentives and clauses in his contract that protect us somewhat.
If the rumour of him having already met with Radders and some senior players is true then he would appear keen to come.
